So thinking out loud what to do during the lockdown period, here are a few suggestions, let me know if they are useful; •
Make a list of things to do while isolated at home for the next 30 days . This can be home projects. You have put off to do, due to lack of time. • Read a scripture verse a day and connect with God. • Go through documents organise and de clutter. Tip: keep 3-4 years of past bills. • Sort through all clothing for yourself and each family member. Organise, donate , try on and see if it still fits. • Revisit your bookshelf. Organise. Read and donate. • Revisit your fridge and cupboards, check expiration dates, use items before they expire or donate. • Make a list of all food items you have in home. Plan ahead menu for the week. Ration yourself. Don't eat everything out in one week. Cut portions or skip a meal. Old ppl say eat little bit and live long. • Pack and organise kitchen cupboards. • Do gardening, pull weeds, water plants. Start a little kitchen garden. • Pack, organise , clean store room or garage. • Clean up and organise files on computer. • Replay all old cds , make sure they still work. For many of us who still use and have CD music. Check your dvds too. • Exercise for 30 minutes by dancing.walking. yoga.weights or free hand exercise. • Drink lots of water. Hydrate. Challenge yourself to drink at least 6 glasses a day. • Limit your social media time . Spend time watching educational and historical videos, shows, movies. • Spend time with family sharing small days stories and experiences. • Call and check up on friends, family, neighbours you haven't spoken to in years. • Play board games with kids and adults to pass the time. • Re-priortise your life with the basic necessity to survive, which is family/friend support, shelter/home,health and wellbeing,food/nutrition and the most important is Almighty God who is in control of every thing.
