I will start with one section of the collection. Kids and children’s books. If you have any books of this type, I am interested. I don’t charge for these. If a child shows interest, they can have it. They should be encouraged to read anything. Everything. Let them have that.

After all these years, I’ve decided to give the collection a name. My mother started a book trade system in the 70’s as a way of doing something with her growing collection of books. Over the years the collection has grown and shrunk. When Hafa Books closed many years ago, we were it for used books. My family were told many times: “You can close the lock shop, but keep the books going”.

Buy, sell and trade. $1-3 per book (relative to section). Two of your books for one of ours. I will pay $0.25 per book if you want cash. Or if you have books that you no longer want, I am willing to offer them a new home. No book should ever go waste or the dump. Unless otherwise specified.
