A difficult update 💔

From 12 August , new EU packaging rules (PPWR) start to apply. For a tiny business shipping across Europe, this means navigating different national EPR systems, registrations, reporting and additional costs — country by country. For a large company with a compliance department, this is one thing. Bohemian Summer Tales is just me.

I make the jewellery and most of the home decor, run the shop, answer your messages, photoshooting, pack every order and do all the paperwork myself. Honestly, after the first shock, I felt like giving up.

I feel angry and deeply frustrated by how disproportionately this affects the smallest businesses — the ones with the least money and resources to deal with it. Many of us already produce on a tiny scale, care deeply about our environmental impact and try to minimize waste, yet the administrative burden can be enormous compared to the amount of packaging we actually put into the world.

For now, I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to temporarily pause EU shipping while I figure this out. For now, Greece and countries outside the EU remain open. If you’re in the UK, USA, Switzerland or elsewhere outside the EU and have been thinking about ordering something, your support right now would mean an incredible amount to me. ❤️

I really hope this is temporary. I’ve put years of work and love into Bohemian Summer Tales, and I’m going to do everything I can to find a way through this. There is also a petition calling for a fairer solution for micro businesses — I’ll put the link in my bio.

Τις ιστορίες τις φτιάχνουν οι παρέες.... Αυτή τη μέρα θα τη θυμάμαι για καιρό! Τα κορίτσια μου, οι φίλες μου, η οικογένεια μου εκτός από απεριόριστη βοήθεια και υπομονή, μου χάρισαν πολύ γέλιο και αμέτρητη αγάπη.

Η μικρή Αλίκη....το υπέροχο τυφλό πλασματακι που σώθηκε με τα θαυματουργά χέρια της Αλίνας από το pawsandusofficial χρειάζεται τη βοήθεια μας για την κάλυψη των ιατροφαρμακευτικών της αναγκών.
Για χάρη της δημιούργησα νέα κοσμηματακια στη συλλογή "Τα Γατοσκυλακια μας", τα έσοδα των οποίων θα πάνε εξολοκλήρου σε αυτή.

Οι φίλοι μου ξέρουν πολύ καλά πως έχω μια Σώσω μέσα μου και δεν την κρύβω καθόλου .....
Λατρεύω αυτό το χιούμορ, το βρίσκω ευφυές και λυτρωτικό!
