It's been a long day and I look like I've been dragged through a hedge whilst riding a galloping hedgehog, which at this minute in time I could sleep on! Soooo many new things have been unpacked today and I think I really need to stop ordering giftware as the Rabbit Hole is well and truly fuller than a cup that has brimmethed over ( is that even a word?? It is now!) I'm going home now but will be back to do it all again tomorrow :-)

Well glaze my arse and call me a donut, guess who ended up working this afternoon due to being a tad giddy about the latest deliveries! Restocks and new objects of desire that had me as giddy as the giddiest of kippers! New statement cups were the first things out of the Alchemy stash and I can honestly say they are absolutely fabulous dahling! There's some rather epic new goodies hitting the shelves ( if I can find the room to put it all 馃槃) over the next couple of days and I'll now be working non stop before I head off on Thursday! Thank you to all the awesome customers who have fallen down the Rabbit Hole this week, I think the sign on the door is working as you've all been such wonderful human beings! There's been random dancing and more smiles than at a toothpaste convention, more weeks like this if you please! Anne will be taking charge of the pandemonium circus next week as I'm absconding to go see Patti Smith so if you need me I'll be here tomorrow ( Saturday) and Tuesday :-) Have a super happy weekend cherubs 鉂わ笍

What's Kefalonia like in May?? Well. . .the first Sunday in May, an overcast day to begin, perfect for doing what can only be described as a "challenging hike" all be it with scenery straight from an MGM film set where the colours are so perfect that they're surely man made, not here, mother nature needs no help or aid of rose tinted glasses ( though I think I could have benefitted from an iron lung after traversing hell's canyon and treachery falls! As you can see from my description it's not for the faint hearted!) After arse skidding and doing more exercise than the past month I, and my two fabulous friends came out to Fteri beach where the water was such a vivid hue of blues it looked like the cooking pot of glacier mints, sweets from years ago that looked like aquamarine glass. The contrast of blue against the powder blue sky, fluffy clouds and beach of white pebbles was absolutely captivating in it's natural beauty. Would I go again, yes, but only on days like today where the wildflowers are in bloom and the temperature isn't ruining my gothic tan. I think I need a nap now to recover! Kefalonia, the island that never ceases to amaze. Happy Sunday cherubs 馃挋

Happy birthday to the Rabbit Hole! 14 years! 14 years of fabulous people, random dancing, Cheshire cat grins and moments that have me questioning my sanity due to the absolute absurdity of it all and the ever changing bureaucracy that has me screaming into a pillow, making a blanket fort and rocking in a corner! There have been ups, there have been downs, there have been people who love the store and others who hate it but it's still here, still standing and making people smile ( and some look like they're sporting a poo moustache!) and come back like the swallows on the logo year after year. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart as without you my little dream would have withered many moons ago and I thank my lucky stars for your support. I'm also lucky to have a fantastic team in the form of my little hutch superstars Anne and Anna, especially Anne as this will be her 9th season as she joined the pandemonium circus in 2018 and she's still going strong and coping with a boss that isn't exactly normal 馃榾 The hutch is open today so if you're passing say hello! Kalo mina and happy Friday to you all!
