Vacancy for A Business Development Officer

Job purpose:
The BDO will develop strategies and market the company to important stakeholders with an aim to generate and increase business for the company while ensuring that clients and partners are satisfied.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop a sales and marketing strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability
• Implement the sales and marketing strategy as needed
• Plan for effective search of sales leads and prospects
• Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
• Develop proposals, presentations and requested documentation for potential partners or clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare winning tenders requested by potential clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and important stakeholders to increase stakeholder satisfaction by managing expectations and fulfilling agreed project objectives.
• Continuously follow up and monitor progress of partnerships and agreements which must be in place for successful ex*****on of project(s).
• Timely submission of weekly progressive reports on projects for review by management
• Develop marketing campaigns
• Lead and implement all marketing and promotional activities
• Monitor the marketing and promotions performance and provide the necessary advice to enhance results
• Be responsible for developing all external communication materials/documents
• Prepare all marketing and promotional materials
• Implement both traditional and new media campaigns

Qualification and Requirements
• A minimum of three years relevant experience in Business Development industry and at least an HND in marketing, business management, communication, or related field.
