Job Title: Operations Officer

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Officer to join our dynamic team. The Operations Officer will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our procurement processes. This individual will be responsible for coordinating logistics, managing inventory, and optimizing operational workflows to support our company's mission and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management, to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating favourable terms and agreements to optimize cost savings and quality.
Oversee the processing of purchase orders, invoices, and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Conduct regular audits and evaluations of procurement processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions, recommending innovative solutions and best practices to enhance procurement operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement, operations management, or supply chain logistics, preferably within the procurement and supply industry.
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software and inventory management systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality assurance.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
