In every generation in the history of nations, communities, and organisations, some people emerge as having rendered outstanding contributions to their own and beyond. In The Church of Pentecost (CoP), Prophet Peter Baffour Appiah-Adu is one of such.
To Prophet Appiah-Adu, as he is simply called, CoP is his very life-blood, his "Father's" own, not just a church in which he is serving as a full-time minister. This prompts him to display a high sense of patriotism towards the church. He rises to contend for the doctrinal and practical purity of the church, as well as the "Pentecost-way", and these he did in over three decades of meritorious service.
He is an ordained Prophet of the church, with deep prophetic sensors. Through this gift he has received many songs sung across many Pentecostal and Charismatic churches and indeed enjoyed by the general Ghanaian populace. No wonder he was awarded the prestigious "2022 Outstanding Personality of the Year" by Predecessors Awards.
Even now as a septuagenarian and on retirement, the river of Prophet P. B, Appiah-Adu's life continues to flow, through his music ministry, to water and refresh many, and will continue to do so for many more years to come
