THE SYMPATHY SEEKING GENERATION

EXEGESIS 004

"Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he hath no son? Give unto us [therefore] a possession among the brethren of our father"- Numbers 27:4 (KJV).

In life, the challenge that most people are facing is probably not a problem they have encountered but their pleasure to accept and dwell in that challenge. However, a situation that one does not hate, he cannot properly hunt it out of his life. God wants us to be strong all the time in order to overcome every challenge we face.

The daughters of Zelophehad in the Bible were denied of inheritance among the Israelites because their father had died in the wilderness and he had no son as stated in the Law of God concerning inheritance. These women could have accepted the situation and wallow in abject poverty but they were bold enough to petition Moses and Eleazar the priest.

Moses brought the issue before God and God told Moses to change the Law regarding inheritance and the daughters of Zelophehad also received the portion of their inheritance; "And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, The daughters of Zelophehad speak right: thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brethren; and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them"- Numbers 27:6-7.

I believe there were many other women without inheritance because they had no brother(s) but they chose to dwell in that circumstance. But the daughters of Zelophehad rose to challenge the status quo and they were able to receive their heart desire. The Bible says that through God we shall do valiantly. May God help us to come out of the Sympathy Seeking Generation in Jesus name. Amen. Happy New Month❤️

*THE SYMPATHY SEEKING GENERATION*📗📗📗

EXEGESIS 001

"And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: BUT DAVID ENCOURAGED HIMSELF IN THE LORD HIS GOD"- 1st Samuel 30:6 (KJV).

Challenges are inevitable in life. However, when one faces challenges, he is left with two options, either to solve it or to cry and worry about it .

Man has emotions and it is natural for one to feel sorry and even weep when in trouble. However, one must not continue in sorrow always but must rise to face the challenge by the help of God.

David and his men had returned to Ziklag after a battle and all they had were taken by invaders. The Bible says that David and the men wept and wept until there was no strength to weep again. However, David strengthened himself in the LORD his God;

1. HE ASKED FOR THE EPHOD FROM ABIATHAR AND INQUIRED FROM GOD ABOUT WHAT HE SHOULD DO.

2. GOD ASSURED HIM OF TOTAL RESTORATION

3. HE PURSUED, OVERTOOK AND RECOVERED ALL.

The Generation in which David found himself were "WEEPERS". However, David came out of that Generation by strengthening himself in God.

Beloved, until you come out of "the sympathy seeking generation" and rise up to God, you cannot move to higher levels of life as God has destined you.

The Psalmist said:

"THROUGH GOD, WOMEN SHALL BE MEN AND MEN SHALL DO VALIANTLY"- Psalm 60:12.

Seek Solution and and not Sympathy....

The Sympathy Seeking Generation📗 shall be launched in August 2021.
