Thank you to everyone who made the Basant Panchami programme a grand success!
What a wonderful day with more than 150 attendees… it had many amazing performances by- Ghungroo, B Creative Dance & Fitness, Fitsteps Jules (Jj Haimes),
Laasya, and also other solo and duet performances by Bhavya, Khushboo, Manisha, Pari, Zoe, Khvaish, Ella, Clara, Jessica, Poppy, Pardeep, Anne, Meena, Rahul, Baishali, Adrija, Aiswarya and Peden.

Special thanks to Rikta and Joydeep Mukherjee for coming all the way from mainland to Guernsey, for performing the pooja and mesmerising us with their voices ❤️

The event would have been incomplete without you all 🙏

A heartfelt thank you to Buy the Sea - Guernsey, Tiko Mauritian Delights, Soap's Up and Afrisey for being part of the celebration and showcasing their amazing creations.

We would also like to say special thanks to Iris & Dora for providing the kids art and craft material for the event. We were amazed to see some unique creations by kids using those materials😀

Thank you to The Manor Guernsey for curating special menu for the Basant Panchami event, it was a big hit.

Lastly, thank you to all our talented and lovely volunteers.

Message of Good Wishes

I am pleased to extend my warm greetings and best wishes on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchmi and Saraswati Puja.

This sacred festival symbolises knowledge, wisdom, creativity, and the arrival of spring, a season of renewal and hope. It is a meaningful reminder of the vital role that learning,
culture, and intellectual pursuit play in strengthening communities in Guernsey and shaping a progressive society.

I am sorry, a prior family commitment means I cannot be with you in person.
I wish the event every success and extend my best regards to all those involved in its organisation and celebration.

Event Update:

B Creative provide authentic Street Dance classes for all ages that are fun, energetic and engaging. The Crews will be participating in Dance World Cup Qualifiers in Jersey (24th & 25th January) this year.

Watch them live on 1st February, at Basant Panchami. Join us for a vibrant celebration of culture, knowledge, and community. This event is open to all with prior registration.
