They made it. They loved it. They’ll remember it.

There’s a different kind of joy that comes from making something with your own hands.

That’s what this experience is all about.

Our chocolate-making experience gives children and families a chance to have fun, get creative, and enjoy a little piece of Grenada in the sweetest way possible.

We’re back.

After an incredible response last year, we’re proud to be part of the Grenada Chocolate Festival once again.
This year, we’ve taken things further—creating a series of experiences that go beyond just tasting chocolate. Think hands-on, immersive, and rooted in what we do every day here at Tri-Island Chocolate.

From making your own chocolate bar, to pairing chocolate with film, to blending chocolate with art and food—we’ve designed each event to give you something real, something you’ll remember.

Our events are now live on the Grenada Chocolate Festival website.

Take a look, find something that speaks to you, and come experience chocolate properly.

"Stepping onto Aaron Sylvester’s property feels like entering a chocolate garden, where cocoa pods hang among spice trees, and the air carries nutmeg, cinnamon, and fermenting beans"

Learn how to “lime” in Grenada after a culinary safari, cooking class, street food tour, or chocolate workshop. The home of Oil Down and hot spot for Doubles has a plethora of food experiences to pair with local rum, coconuts, festivals, and communal gatherings.

Yesterday we welcomed students from Belair Government School, Sacred Heart Catholic School, and St. Andrew’s Learning Centre into the Tri-Island Chocolate Factory. Watching them move from curiosity to understanding as they held cocoa pods, smelled fresh nibs, and saw chocolate take shape was a privilege.

For me, this isn’t just a factory tour. It’s an introduction to a whole world many young people never get to see up close.

• They learned that cocoa is more than a crop — it’s part of Grenada’s identity and a pillar of our tourism story.
• They saw how value is created from the soil right through to a finished bar.
• They met real people who farm, process, create, and build businesses from this industry.
• They discovered that agritourism isn’t abstract — it’s a living career path with room for farmers, makers, storytellers, chefs, and innovators.

As someone who grew up far from these hills and found his purpose in cocoa, giving these children a deeper window into this ecosystem means everything to me. Our industry needs the next generation to see possibility, not limitation.

Tourism in Grenada thrives because of people, culture, land, and the small industries that hold it all together. If these sessions spark even one young mind to think differently about agriculture, entrepreneurship, or sustainability, then the effort is worth it.
This month is about celebrating the future of our tourism product — and that future starts with them.

If you’re looking for a fun and immersive activity to enjoy with anyone you’re traveling with, Tri-Island Chocolate is an absolute must!

Never in my life have I questioned a return flight home, but there I was, standing at Maurice Bishop Airport, ready to risk it all for the Spice Island. All I could think was the Caribbean sun kissing my skin, the warm breeze carrying the laughter and the sounds of Soca. I found myself asking: why a...

Success isn't measured by what we gain, but by what we give back to our community.

The 2025 Grenada Chocolate Festival has concluded, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve. Each interaction was a chance to share our craft with new faces, forge meaningful connections, and present our Bean by Bean documentary to those who appreciate the journey from cacao to chocolate.
Working alongside our collaborators reminded us that the greatest achievements arise not from individual effort, but from collective purpose. Every conversation, every shared moment, and every new friendship formed represents progress toward our mission of bringing authentic chocolate experiences to our community.

We remain committed to this path, knowing that true fulfillment comes from consistent dedication to our craft and service to others. Until the next opportunity to serve. Bay House Grenada Grenada Film Company photo credits Arthur Daniel

This Is the Story Behind Every Bar

Everyone talks about bean-to-bar. We go further — tree to bar. That means five years of growth before a single pod is harvested. That means flowers, pollination, and patience. Real flavour isn’t rushed. It’s grown — and at Tri Island Chocolate, we grow it right.

Behind every bar is a journey—nine months growing on the tree, days fermenting, weeks drying under the sun, and generations of tradition.

When you taste our chocolate, you taste history, craft, and culture.

This is more than chocolate.

It’s the story of Grenada—rooted, real, and still being written.
