Rowbert is an independent home fragrance brand, founded in Harrogate in May 2017 by me, Kirsty. Our collection of artisan products include soy candles, wax melts, reed diffusers and air mists. Each and every one of our products are handcrafted by me, from my kitchen counter top in Harrogate. Although, more often than not

, I get an extra pair of hands in the form of my sister who loves to help! From beginning to end, you're getting a proper artisan product, with quality and attention at every stage. Not churned out in huge batches, going along a conveyor belt poured by huge machines. Where's the personal touch in that? Our candles are made from vegan soy wax, with essential oils and fragrances with a cotton wick. We don't add any dyes or nasty extras, just the fragrance for a clean burn. All of our containers are glass and are perfect for reusing. Our candle jars can be turned into planters, our diffuser bottles into pen pots. We love the idea that our packaging can have a life after our product has been enjoyed. Or if it's not needed, all of our packaging is fully recyclable! Just one more thing... we source everything that goes into our products from UK businesses, meaning you're supporting so many others in the supply chain when buying from us. YORK 2025 DONE 💪🏻

This year has been tough. The weather has been relentless 🌧️ But thank you to everyone who showed my small biz support. Whether you purchased for the first time (welcome to the fam!) or you’re a loyalist - THANK YOU. 🙏🏻

Final post office drop tomorrow. Then I’m logging off to enjoy Christmas in Vegas baby! Out of office will be on until Monday 5th January ✌🏻

It’s the final few days of York Christmas Market! 🎄

It’s flown but dragged at the same time, if that makes sense 😆

Thanks so much to everyone who has visited me so far. It always blows my mind how many people have had Rowbert goodies in their homes before & come back again. 💖

I’ll be closing at 7pm on Sunday 21st December so if you’re local and need any last minute goodies - you know where I am! I’m running VERY low on candles and other bits, but lots of wax melts left. For online orders I’d recommend getting your order in ASAP and choose 1st class. My last post office drop will be Monday 22nd December.

It’s a delicious blend of maple syrup & vanilla with warming notes of ginger & star anise… it’s perfect for bunkering down away from this soggy weather!

Latteeeeee post this evening… sums up how fast these setup days go! 😮‍💨

We pivoted the chalet layout drama and managed to get the optimal layout 💪🏻

Today was all about bringing in stock. I never plan this in advance so it takes foreverrr as I’m doing it all real time. Proper chalet tour will come over the next few days.

Hitting the hay now, I’ll be open at 10:30am tomorrow for Day 1! 🎉
