We believe that chocolate should be an experience not just a treat and on this basis we are committed to producing a wonderfully delicious, ethically made range of chocolate indulgences. All of our products are lovingly, hand made from the finest of Fairtrade chocolate, carefully packaged and sent out for you to enjoy. We can create bespoke chocolate products for our corporate clients and we have a wonderful choice of luxury chocolates which make the perfect gift.

It’s been a bit wild out there today, hasn’t it?! 💨 🌬️

With the wind doing its best to blow everything away, we thought we’d share something a little more satisfying from inside the factory, here in York.

Just our machine doing its thing, picking up the foil & wrapper ready for our delicious chocolate bars.

There’s something strangely mesmerising about watching it all happen isn’t there? 🍫☺️

Does anyone else have this problem? 😂🍫

We know it's a little early to be talking about Christmas chocolate, but there's a very real danger that comes with getting organised too soon…

You start buying a few lovely chocolate gifts, feeling terribly pleased with yourself for being so prepared.

Then 9pm on a Friday evening arrives. You're curled up on the sofa, fancying a little something sweet, and suddenly remember…

There's chocolate nicely stored in the cupboard. Christmas chocolate.
That you bought for someone else. 🙈😂

And really, who's going to know?

So perhaps the sensible thing is to buy two. One for gifting and one for those Friday evening emergencies!

Speaking of temptation, here's our rather lovely Pistachio & Rose milk chocolate bar.

Sunday Thoughts ❤️🍫

Sometimes happiness is found in the simplest of things.

The smell of chocolate. That satisfying snap as you break off a piece. The first taste, and the lovely smooth feeling as it slowly melts in your mouth.

Chocolate has a rather wonderful way of engaging all our senses. Even watching it swirl can be strangely soothing!

So here’s a little moment of chocolatey calm for your Sunday evening.
Just a few seconds of swirling, glossy, gorgeous dark chocolate.

Go on, you know you want to dip your finger in. 😂🍫

Do you know where your chocolate comes from? 🤔

We do. 🍫🌱

The Colombian chocolate we use at Choc Affair comes from Luker Chocolate. Their latest Sustainability Report shows 100% traceability from their cocoa suppliers, with 6,547 farms traced using geolocation, demographic and environmental data.

For us, knowing where our cocoa comes from has always mattered.

Because great chocolate shouldn't just taste good. We believe we should understand the story behind it too.

Plenty of bars have been foiled for Christmas today… 🎄🍫
And when we say plenty, we mean plenty!

This is what today has looked like behind the scenes at Choc Affair.
Rows of chocolate bars, freshly made here in York, being foiled ready to be wrapped, packed and sent on their way.

And somewhere behind all that chocolate is Kayla, our chief foiler, who has spent another day wrapping bar after bar after bar…

At this point, we're fairly sure she must foil chocolate bars in her sleep. 😂

Over the next few weeks, thousands of these will make their way to our lovely independent stockists around the country, as well as into Christmas parcels heading directly to you.

All made, foiled and packed by our team here in York. ❤️

Another day of Christmas production done.

Kayla, we are sure, is grateful to be tucked up at home - resting, ready to begin again tomorrow! 😂🍫🎄
