Adult Beginners Guitar Lessons in York 🎸🎵🎶
Calling all frustrated guitar hopefuls out there.
As summer comes around I’m planning to offer an absolute beginners, four week adults guitar course. All you will need is a guitar (I can help with selection and your budget) and the desire to learn in a relaxed and friendly way.
I have many years of experience in both playing and repair and maintenance of instruments and would be happy to get you on the road to playing with ease.
I’ve based my four-week beginners course on you choosing a favourite song and together, we will work towards a version of the song (please don’t choose Bohemian Rhapsody 😉) allowing you to play with confidence and ease.
The initial four week course costs just £120 for four, one hour, one to one lessons and ongoing tuition is also available on an hourly basis. We will cover:
Understanding your guitar
Tuning and stringing
Basic maintenance
Chords and strumming patterns
No heavy musical theory. Let’s keep it fun.
If you would like advice on choosing a guitar to start on your journey, please ask. I can also provide an accessory pack containing everything you need in addition to your choice of guitar.
If you’re still a little hesitant to invest in a guitar while you complete the initial beginners course then I may be able to help with a rental guitar.
