SCRAVIR author CM Vassie was delighted, as a surprise guest, to accompany accomplished Whitby guide, Madame Peculiar, on her Sunday morning literary tour of the town. As part of the literary festival Madame Peculiar introduced the thrill seekers to key locations and stories in the town's history, ending with a dark flourish as she read an extract from SCRAVIR - While Whitby Sleeps. Fortunately for all, the event took place in daylight ... No bodies stumbled over. No fleeting glimpses in the lacklight. All survived.

Thanks to Chris at the Whitby Shop for a fantastic SCRAVIR book signing day! C M Vassie loves meeting the readers. As he puts it without the readers' love for SCRAVIR, books 2 and 3 wouldn't exist. He says he had loads of great conversations and loved the costumes.
