I’ve been going through my photos and wanted to show you something I made for a dear friend, many years ago. She encouraged me to actually give this ol’ memory bear thing a go. It’s been nearly 4 years and I haven’t looked back!
This is a pattern from Lisa Pay, she’s an awesome creator from Australia.. very much a ‘collector doll’ creator. This is fully jointed, legs, arms, and head all swivel.

Loved making this wedding dress bear💕 made me very nervous when I saw the fabric but she turned out wonderfully!!

.. memory bears made from gauze, lace, and super thin material .. these were a little tricky with a few of extra steps in preparation, but oh so gorgeous!

These delicate little bears have been made in memory of a much loved family woman. Favourite scarves with lace detailing, quite a challenge as they were so thin. Nearly every panel is made up of three layers, my cotton interfacing, and two parts of the scarf sandwiched with double sided iron on glue. The melting point of the gauze was quite low.. it was a balance of melting the glue, but not the lace!

And this gorgeous little face.. 😁 I’m really pleased with how these bears are coming together, the very thin gauzy lace ...

And this gorgeous little face.. 😁 I’m really pleased with how these bears are coming together, the very thin gauzy lace and (ever so) slightly thicker material of the scarf have been sandwiched together to make a lovely two toned material
