Maybe it’s just me, but if she’s wearing a uniform five days a week, I don’t see anything wrong with letting her hair accessories have a little personality… 🤭🎀✨
Now, that doesn’t mean I hate gingham... 😅 Lots of people love traditional school bows, and that’s absolutely fine. But I’m here for the glitter-obsessed girls!
The ones who think a bow should sparkle.
The ones who want their hair accessories to twinkle like a tiny tiara.
The ones who somehow manage to bring full princess energy to a navy cardigan and sensible school shoes. 👑✨
Of course, every school is different. Some schools allow glitter bows in uniform colours, some prefer plain accessories, and I’ve even heard of schools banning hair bows altogether... (which seems so unfair!).
That’s why I’m always banging on about checking the actual policy rather than relying on supermarket displays, class WhatsApp groups, or what “everyone else wears”. Because sometimes the rules are a lot more sparkle-friendly than people realise.
And if your little girl can wear a bow that makes her excited to get ready, feel confident walking through the gates, and shine a little brighter during her school day... well, I think that’s worth knowing. 🎀✨
Now tell me... what’s the hair accessory policy at your little one’s school? Is it strictly gingham or secretly sparkle-friendly? Let’s compare notes in the comments! 👇💬
