This beautifully carved obsidian skull is eerily awesome! Obsidian is a mineral that assists with self-exploration. It often forms in long sheets, which are then trimmed and used for scrying plates. Larger pieces are machine-cut and polished to make scrying spheres. Obsidian is volcanic glass, and unlike window-pane glass, is created naturally. What was once hidden deep within the earth, erupts into the air, and reveals itself in a vitrified message! To increase self-awareness obsidian can be worn as a bracelet or pendant; carried in a purse or change pocket or simply held (or placed on the couch or bed within the auric field) at night or in meditation during the day!
