The experience and knowledge they have gained during this time and their attention to detail has built Teal Turf into one of the market leaders. and blending the latest grass seed varieties to produce the best possible turf. Teal Turf has its own dedicated turf farm purchased especially for its quality of soil and the ability to irrigate the growing turf. Teal Turf also invests in the latest technology of machinery for planting, maintaining and harvesting of our turf. Teal Turf also supplies high grade topsoil for pre-turfing and landscaping. It can be supplied pre-bagged or loose; it is also available in blends of topsoil, sand and compost. Keeping quality high through the dry conditions

Despite the prolonged dry and warm conditions across the UK, maintaining the quality of our turf remains our priority.

Throughout the summer, we’ve been starting our harvesting early in the morning, lifting turf during the coolest part of the day. This helps reduce heat stress once the turf is cut and rolled, keeping it fresher and in the best possible condition.

We then deliver directly to our customers the same day, minimising the time between harvesting and laying.

It’s a little extra effort behind the scenes, but an important part of making sure our turf arrives fresh, strong and ready to lay.

The last few weeks have been busy in the fields as we continue preparing ground for future turf production.

Here is the final roll after sowing our bespoke rye/fescue grass seed mix, helping create a clean, level and well-consolidated seedbed.

We continue to invest in our irrigation systems to adapt to prolonged dry summers, while supporting optimal turf health and strong root development.

Our specialist team also designs and installs bespoke irrigation systems for sports grounds and private gardens, tailored to suit each site’s requirements.
