I am an experienced piano technician, specialising in tuning, repairs and reconditioning, in and around Essex.

I am a fully qualified and experienced Piano Tuner-Technician. This means that not only do I tune pianos, but I repair them too... not something that all tuners will necessarily do! I fell in love with the piano whilst I was studying piano performance at Trinity College of Music (now Trinity Laban Conservatiore of Music and Dance) and became fascinated with how it worked, inside and out. I have re

paired and tuned pianos for many celebrities as well as holding a tuning residency at a top West-End theatre for a year. I also attend domestic tunings at the convenience of my customers. Spent a very satisfying morning cleaning out this Bentley for . It had been stored in a barn, so it was very moth-damaged. It actually tuned up beautifully after a preliminary pitch raise 3 months ago. It looks lovely in their venue and I am looking forward to seeing what new ventures they will achieve with it! It's wonderful to be able to give a piano a new chance to make music once again. Huge thankyou too to (my super Work Experience student) for working so hard on it with me.

Just another graveyard shift.. for the last year, I've had the privilege of tuning at The Savoy, in conjunction with . I have to tune at night, when the piano is not in use, and the residents are tucked up (mostly) in bed!

Something different today! I didn't dare remove this player action, as I know the pipes can be really brittle, so I had to stand on my tippy toes to reach over to the tuning pins. The problems of being a short piano tech! Honestly, I love it! Such a fun invention, and she tuned up nicely too!

I had the pleasure of tuning this lovely Kawai at this week. This is their beautiful barn that they have just opened for functions and weddings. What a stunning venue, outside and in! Thoroughly enjoyed working on your piano!
