My tarot skills are still in their infancy; but I feel very connected to my Mum when I use her Oswald Wirth Tarot deck. The silk scarf I wrap them in was also hers and I use a copy of Alfred Douglas's 1974 The Tarot to help me with my interpretations.

The Tarot book has a bit of a story...Mum had a 1974 copy just the same. I sold it, before I started learning Tarot. I had an alternative book that someone had given me, so used that for a while...I couldn't get on with it. Then I saw a copy of the same version Mum used and so I re-bought it. I get on with this one alot better!

The Oswald Wirth deck is not easy to use, but I think it is beautiful and I also believe it is worth persevering with. 💫

'Of Dr Dee's Book of Spirits' is Hooke's exploration into whether John Dee actually spoke to angels, or whether he really was an Elizabethan spy!

Wow! What a day at the Welsh Occult Conference. I did not have a chance to post yesterday as it was very busy! Didn't even get a chance to take any photos till about halfway through the day!!

Thank you to everyone who came to see me, chat, and buy a few treasures. It was great to hear the speakers too on such a wide range of subjects, something for everyone!

A huge thanks goes out to Gary St Michael Nottingham and Lesley Ann Jackson for their welcome, organisation and hospitality. I am truly grateful to have the platform of the conference to share the legacy of the OCS and make sure that volumes are passed on to the RIGHT people.

It was wonderful to meet up with old friends, reacquaint with people I met last year and connect with new people...always a pleasure.

Thanks also to my helpers - you know who you are. I could not do it without you 📚💜📚

I have alot of food for thought and copious notes to ponder on going forward.

Phew! Books all sorted, just got to pack them up in the morning.

I seem to have selected quite a few Victorian volumes, the oldest one being 1861!!

There have been some difficult decisions made on what books to take to Saturday's Welsh Occult Conference.

I just wanted to say, that as I am going along, I am cataloguing and photographing every book from the collection as a permanent record of the archive. I am also posting on pintrest...although I am really behind on that!
