🌟 VOLUNTEERS WANTED 🌟

Jac in the Box is looking for volunteers to join our amazing team on Monday mornings and/or Wednesday mornings.

We’re particularly interested in people with teaching, SEND, mentoring, coaching, youth work or training experience, although this is not essential. If you’re patient, encouraging, and passionate about helping young people succeed, we’d love to hear from you.

Our trainees work towards an AQA/City & Guilds accredited Certificate in Workplace Readiness, developing practical skills that prepare them for employment and independence.

The programme covers areas such as:
✅ Timekeeping
✅ Customer Service
✅ Using a Till
✅ Stock Rotation
✅ Personal Hygiene & Presentation
✅ Making Refreshments
✅ Shop Presentation
✅ Retail Management Skills

As a volunteer, you’ll help support and guide young people as they build confidence, gain experience, and work towards recognised qualifications.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s future while being part of a supportive and rewarding team.

Every donation, every conversation, every cup of tea, and every item sold helps create a safe, welcoming space for people in our community.

We help build confidence, provide opportunities, support young people with work experience and life skills, and create a place where everyone feels valued and included.

From volunteering and retail training to simply being a friendly face on a hard day, what we do matters because people matter.
