Tamara was super brave in having her 31" long flowing hair shaved off, for Wivey Cares, Cancer Research Uk and thr Little Princess Trust

The Hub and Grub (Fridays, 10.30-2pm, Wiveliscombe Community Centre) have had a great time with Eliza, playing instruments, creating rhythms, singing and movement

This week we are going to be joined by the Wivey Strummers....the new beginners group of Ukelele players

Pop along for a coffee stay for lunch (served at 12pm, £7 each) and then have a go. Apparently all you need is one finger to make a beautiful sound 🎶

Wivey Cares runs 2 support groups each week, both of which are growing

Wivey Cares needs more volunteers to help run these groups

Memory Activity Group is alot of fun, and supported by Reminiscence Learning. We meet Tuesdays 10.30-12.30pm

The Hub and Grub, on a Friday 10.30am-2pm, is a lovely space to meet new and old friends , sharing a lunch together and then finishing with some entertainment/activity afterwards

Both groups meet at Wiveliscombe Community Centre

💚The long awaited total can now be shared with you all....and what a whopping total it is 💙

Thank you to everyone single person who helped make Wivey Secret Gardens and Arts & Crafts Fair the success that it was

The weather may have tried to dampen our spirits, but my goodness didn't the community lift them to the highest heights

Thank you to all the Garden Hosts, the volunteers, the artists and crafters, those that participated in events in Jubilee Gardens and the Community Centre , those that donated plants, cakes, and refreshments, and not forgetting everyone who bought a Passport (we sold out!!!!)

A very big thank you to the driving force behind this event. Without her vision and eye for detail this wouldn't have happened (VC)

It truly was a real community event, one that wont be forgotten quickly

So once again, a huge HUge HUGE thank you to everyone
