The face behind the business!

I’m Poppy the owner of Poppy’s Handmade Creations. I’m 31, living in West Oxfordshire with my wonderful other half Between The Goal Sticks and our black lab Tilly.

I work as a Personal Assistant in a busy Emergency Department and have just finished year one of my BA Hons degree in Business Management.

I wanted to start up a small business many years ago but doubted myself always thinking it would never come to anything. However in October 2019 with a boost of confidence from my other half & my bestie Sensory Bambino I went for it and set up Poppy’s Handmade Creations.

There have been lots of ups & downs, good sale and bad sale days however here I am 10 months later preparing stock to be sold in The Shop Witney(so excited)!!

I love making handmade creations knowing that they put a smile on the face of my customers. The best advice I can give to any small business owner or anyone thinking of starting up their own business is GO FOR IT! Believe in yourself and and put yourself out there, hard work & determination pays off.
