Talking to customers it seems a lot of folks don’t realise - that most of the lumps of cheese here at Ken’s, are cut on the premises by our specially trained staff.

We pick what cheese we think is going to be popular, buy it in big blocks, then cut it into resale sizes.

At the moment we’ve got this Isle of Man mature cheddar that we’re getting loads of positive feedback from, it’s available as Mature Red Leicester and IOM Vintage Cheddar - don’t miss out

Huge congratulations to Tom Wanford on scoring his maiden century for Wirksworth Cricket Club at the weekend.

Tom’s a local lad and has progressed through the ranks at Wirksworth & Middleton Cricket Club, from junior cricket all the way to the First XI.
As Ken’s sponsored player, he popped into the shop today to celebrate the weekends achievement—and, of course, to check that Ken’s famous cobs were up to scratch!

Congratulations again Tom, on a fantastic milestone. We wish you every success for the rest of the season and beyond.

There’s no 11% like that the supermarkets are punting at you, except the Lafage but that’s always a bit lighter.
