Kimwrightflowers Kim Wright Flowers, based in Windsor, creating artistic, elegant and natural floral designs for wedd I feel I have the privilege of being the messenger.

Being a florist allows me to play a small part in some of the most important occasions in people's lives, both happy and sad, and what I've learnt over the years is that people use flowers to show love. I favour a very natural look, selecting flowers that seem like they would occur together in a beautiful garden. My work is heavily inspired by art and the past - I play with scale, colour, balance

and scent. My type is wildly romantic and elegant, antique pink roses are my favourites, and I feel very lucky to be able to work with such amazing flowers, and lovely people, every day.

Sarah came to Windsor and brought some beautiful flowers from her garden. Over a lovely meal at one of Windsorโ€™s best pubs we talked about work, travel, family, and life. The conversation flowed effortlessly, and the whole afternoon was simply perfect.

Set in the stunning grounds of Windsor Great Park, the Royal Windsor Flower Show is a celebration of gardening, nature, creativity, and British tradition. From floral displays and show gardens to artisan food, crafts, live music, and family activities, itโ€™s the perfect summer day out for garden lovers and families alike.

Organised by the Royal Windsor Rose & Horticultural Society, this historic event combines classic flower show elegance with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. This yearโ€™s theme, โ€œRooted in Nature,โ€ highlights sustainability and our connection to the natural world.

Over the past few years, Iโ€™ve entered competitions at the Royal Windsor Flower Show, won a few awards, and taken part in volunteering work as well.

Iโ€™ll be volunteering again at this yearโ€™s show, so hopefully Iโ€™ll see some of you there.

My lovely neighbour knocked on my door and invited me to cut some flowers from his garden for my arrangements. Iโ€™ll be like a little girl in a sweet shop, surrounded by all those beautiful flowers there.
