Hello and welcome to my page, I make tiny ceramic houses, and Dorset thatch cottages made from earthenware and stoneware clay. Since I was an art student many moons ago I've always maintained my interest in ceramics. I love making tiny cottages and houses, as well as adding the quirky design to hand thrown bottles and bowls. It originally started out as a hobby, making them as gifts for family a

nd friends, now I have retired and have a proper studio I'm able to leave the kiln out and spend as much time as I like playing with clay! I don't have website, so I give a cheeky plug to hubby's on line business xx

Good morning, I think, for a change, we may be in for a bit of decent weather, there is a glimmer of ☀️. Time to get the beds stripped and washing on the line, we are having our first visitors to stay since Jan 2020. My daughter, Son in law and grandsons are coming for a few days over half term, we are soooo exited, this is the first time we’ve seen them in over a year 🤪. Good morning, what a rubbish day, it’s blowing a hoolie and a wet one here. After much faffing about and procrastinating I’ve started the Buddha, no more thoughts of spring cleaning and important house work....I’ve bit the bullet and I’m on it🤣 have a fab day xx

Morning all, it was so wet and windy this morning I didn’t want to get up, so I turned the alarm off and turned over😉
Today’s fun is right out of my comfort zone 🤪I’ve been asked to make a Buddha . If this works and it looks like the customers photo.... I’ll eat hay with a donkey 😳

Happy Hump day folks. Sorry I haven’t been around much, we sneaked off for a few days to get drenched in Devon ☔️. Had a lovely time but boy was it wet! Last week I took 5 yarn bowls and 4 jugs out of the kiln, you are keeping me busy, I’ve only got one jug left! , it’s a good job I’m home to make some more 😉Have a lovely day, what ever your plans are xx

Good morning, I was up with lark this morning, we had an electrician coming to fit a charging point at 7.30am. Lol, it’s not often I see two 7 o’clock s in a day 🤪. Sat in the sun on the patio having my coffee, watching the bees in and out of the bird box, they are back for a 2nd year nesting in the box. They don’t half make a racket when they start fanning the airflow around🐝🐝🐝🐝 xx

Good morning, it’s some funny old weather we are having here at the moment, out of one window it’s big white fluffy clouds and out of the other it’s as black as your hat. Not sure it’s a picnic at a beach hut sort of day 🤣

Good morning, hope you are all well. Sorry I’ve not been around very much. I’ve been finishing some commission pieces and making stock to fill my B Etsy shop, lol I can’t seem to make enough yarn bowls 🤪It was all going swimmingly well till food poisoning knocked me out for a couple of weeks, but now I’m back to being fighting fit again🤪and I’ve got my 2nd covid jab this evening, if all goes well we are hoping to have a few days away later in the week. Have a wonderful week ###x

Good morning and a Happy Hump day. I’m having a minute ☕️whilst I wait for the kiln to cool down the last 100c then I can empty it. Its a first firing so it all needs to be decorated and glazed and back in for another 24 hr firing, that’s my time till weekend taken care of😳 Have a lovely day, hope you have some sun. Xx
