Well as if this mans spring 26 couldn't get any better - goes to his back up club lake whilst his main syndicate shut for spawning and flops an A teamer out on his first go🤣

'With my main syndicate now closed for spawning it’s usually the time I hang the rods up and get busy catching up on house hold jobs! But the temptation to try out a new pond that ive joined for the winter this year got the better of me and I was on my way for the standard work overniter! It’s only a small lake, and it holds some mega old big carp! My first night was a success, with a fair bit of intel made and even better I managed 1 of the lakes big girls! A proper spring maker for me and over the magical 40lb too, again using my favourite combi rig consisting of size 4 , supple braid and !'

A REAL EDGE WHEN ZIG FISHING -

When we introduced the Nite Glow version of the ppopular to the zig range in spring 25 we knew they would be a huge success! Fast forward a year and they have accounted for some mega fish along the way from some pretty tricky venues to say the least!

Well 2026 see's the addition of 2 new colours - The eagle eyes amongst you will be able to spot them👀

A simple blip with a headtorch will charge up the aligner with an ultra intense glow for around 45 mins and a glow out period of around 4-6 hours depending on water temps. A real edge when it comes to site fishing!

Our man in Canada is back!! returns to the feed with the lakes and rivers finally re opening after the winter break!

'Can't say enough how good it felt to be back on the bank after what seemed like the longest winter ever, with most waters here in Canada just recently opening, but are now free of ice and the fish are getting on the feed as the waters warm. I managed a few hours in the morning on a river swim close to home and was rewarded for the effort with a solid pick up and run, followed by a surprisingly good battle considering the frigid water temps, resulting in this beautiful, chunky Common for my first of the 2026 season and a character at that with some unique markings that tipped the scale to 23lbs. Couldn't have asked for a better start to be honest.

Fished a single Pop up on a Multi Rig consisting of a size 4 with Tungsten Kicker and Bait Swivel attached to W**d Green with Tungsten Anti Tangle Sleeve on a Helicopter setup over a scattering of particles.'

The machine that is .suddaby is flying on his Wrasbury return getting a few under his belt early doors.

.carper is the last of the linear reports but by no means least. Coming out last in the draw is always a little disheartening but making the most of it is what its all about!

'Well after being last in the draw I was a bit disheartened, but I got to work with the lead and marker float and out in front of me in places it went down to 30ft deep! But I ended up finding a spot that was 10-12 ft , the spot was gravel with hints of clay which I often brought back in the textures of the lead. Over the 3 nights we stayed at hardwick, I managed to land 4 carp , a proper cool 32lb mirror full of spawn , a very characteristic 23lb mirror, a 22lb common and a 27lb mirror as my last bite. Overall a mega mega social with the boys , really good to meet some more of them and catch up with the ones I’ve met previously, full of laughs, banter and all the rest of it, over all a great time and LOTS of carp between us !!

Rig wise I used d rigs, 15lb and the ever faithful size 4 , I used this rig at 4-5inches , but when I use the sabres with this rig I tend to put a tiny bit of kicker just over the eye so that the Fluro doesn’t exit so aggressively , tungsten anti tangle sleeves also, with the dark silt lead clips and a 3.5 oz lead'

Testament to an epic fishery with some absolute gems that is not to be overlooked on the complex. Further to that.. A massive shout to Andy for helping Dan run the event which clearly was a huge success.

managed to secure one of the last min spots on the FT social and tagged along with the boys for what clealy was a mega trip.

'After a slow 36 hours with with fish all over us but not really feeding in the hardwick side. Around midnight on our second night the right rod screamed off followed 10mins later by a double take. Resulting in 2x 24 and a 30. With a further 12 spombs on the spot I got my head down an hour later the left rod ripped off again resulting in a 21. A slow day followed and then that night I managed a couple more mid 20s. All fish fell to the trusty slip D made with size 4 ’s, and fished with a small barrel wafter. Absolutely top atomic social and the boys smashed it. Looking forward to the next one.'
