Maple centres, Flame maple top & back cut and glued
Full size control cover.
Control holes drilled and dished
Rough shape and carve front and back of wings
Radius fret board

Next finalise neck, cut cable runs, glue wings to neck
Finish carving of body/neck

Drill tuner holes and check fit ☑️
Glue fretboard to neck ☑️
Make neck profile template ☑️
Carve most of neck including volute ☑️

I feel like I’ve achieved something this week!

Here’s an update of my first bass

I always feel like it starts to become an actual guitar when you get the neck routed & headstock shaped.

Cocobolo Fretboard, first time cutting slots with the Radius Dish UK saw blade… what a dream!
Added Brass markers, just need the logo inlayed.
