My last module before my final project.
This one started off with two round stones, but after breaking off a prong on one setting, I had to start again.
Probably my favourite ring that I’ve made so far though despite the challenges 😩 I guess there is no learning, without mistakes 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Finally! This was a tough one which, a bit like the Celtic knot bangle, took three attempts to complete. I love it though and this will be one I will keep for myself….as a reminder not to give up! 😂💕💕

Guess what I am making today for the first project of term 3

Some D section wire, some tubing and a sparkly pink CZ stone 💕 …plus a few hours of panic, sweat, extreme concentration, snacks, music, a few finger injuries, back ache and sweary words! Hand made is definitely worth the price you pay 😁

This was definitely the most difficult project so far, it took several attempts and it’s still not perfect. It’s a good job silver can be recycled 😂

I was in two minds whether to show it or not because I’m not entirely happy with the finished item. Of course I did learn a lot along the way, which I guess is the whole point! 💕

My beautiful flowers this morning from in Wickford.

I will only ever buy flowers from here, as I know they are the best quality and will last much longer than those from the supermarket 💐

Bonus is the staff are lovely too and super helpful and knowledgeable.

Finally got to catch up on my with Celtic knots, granulation and soldering earring posts.

I’ve had a lovely bank holiday weekend visiting Aldeburgh and the very quirky Thorpeness. Spending a few hours at a pottery wheel class which I thoroughly enjoyed and then the last two days peacefully at my work bench. Perfect! 💕

This is term 2 week 2 of

I am a bit behind due to feeling poorly, but luckily the course is flexible enough to allow for such life events.

This project covers tube setting and meant I had to get over my fear of using the Dremel as a drill 😬 I’m ok using it to polish, in fact I find that to be quite fun, but the whole drill thing has me in a panic! 😂 I definitely need a bit more practice.

I think this is not bad for a first go and my little one will be happy with her choice of a dark green stone for her first ‘proper’ ring 💕
