Shenyang F.6 [MIG-19S] Combat Commanders School, Pakistani Air Force 1980.

This is the 1/72 ZTS Plastyk kit from 2006.
I did it as a commission build for a very good customer of mine.

Lavochkin La-15 "Fantail", Soviet Air Force 1950.

This aircraft was one of the early Russian jet designs of the late 1940's.
The MIG-15 was preferred over it so by 1953 all of the 235 built had been withdrawn from service after only four years of service.

I used the 1/72 Cooperativa limited run kit from 1992.

Spitfire Mk.XIVe, 152 Sqdn, Singapore 1945.

This aircraft displays the black panther motif of the unit when they were based out in the far east.
152 Sqdn flew the Spitfire throughout W.W II

I used the 1/72 Fujimi kit with aftermarket decals from a Aeromaster sheet.

Avia S-199, 101 Sqdn, Israeli Air Force 1948.

The S-199 became Israel's first fighter aircraft when twenty five were bought from the Czechs in 1948.

I used the 1/72 K.P kit from 2015 which I finished as the aircraft flown by American volunteer Mitchell Flint.

Bristol Blenheim Mk.IVf, 235 Sqdn 1941.

This is the 1/48 Classic Airframe limited run kit from 2000.

I built it as a commission which took me out of my comfort zone as 1/48 is not really my scale.

The actual aircraft was lost in action during May 1941 with all of the crew of three being killed, one of the crew was related to whom I did the commission for.

Fiat Cr.42 Falco, 85 Squadriglia, Regia Aeronautica 1940.

This is the 1/40 scale Smer kit which dates back to 1959 when it was originally released by an Italian Manufacturer called Plastic Toy then it later went to another Italian outfit called Artiplast.

For many years this "odd scale" kit was the only one available outside of 1/72 scale.

Dewoitine D.520, "Groupe Doret", French Air Force 1944.

This unit was formed in July 1944 using re-captured Dewoitine D.520 fighters. The unit was named after it's first commander Marcel Doret who was a famous pre-war test pilot.

They mainly escorted French manned Dauntless dive bombers that were attacking German strongholds along the Atlantic coast that were still holding out.

The letters F.F.I on the fuselage invasion stripes stand for "French Forces of the Interior".

I used the 1/72 Heller/Smer kit from the mid 1960's.

Supermarine Seafang F.32, 1832 Sqdn, R.N.V.R 1949.

The Seafang was the naval version of the land based Spiteful.

It lost out to the Hawker Sea Fury and no foreign orders were received. It did however provide Supermarine with valuable information for their jet powered Attacker development program.

I used the 1/72 AZ Model limited run kit which I finished as a "what-if" had it seen service.

P.Z.L P.37 Los, 217 Bomber Squadron, Polish Air Force 1939.

The Los was the most modern aircraft in the Polish Air Force when the Germans invaded in September 1939.

It was fast with a maximum speed of 276 mph and a bomb load of 5.600 lbs. Seventy were in service by September 1939 which was not enough to alter the outcome of the Polish campaign.

I used the old 1/72 ZTS kit from the early 1980's
