In 1974 on the old side of town, Hildoceras, originally a butchers shop, was established. My Mam and Dad, Myra and Sid Weatherill set up the shop on a shoestring selling gifts to locals and tourists in a much quieter Whitby than it is today. The shop has stayed in the family and over the years the business has grown and flourished. Our wide range of fossils, crystals and minerals from across the g

lobe will interest collectors but will also intrigue children and those looking for a truly unique gift. A range of lamps from Turkish mosaic ,Nkuku brass to Hand-blown glass are in store. There’s nothing like the smell and feel of a real leather bag and you are welcome to smell and feel our ranges of men’s and ladies bags, briefcases and luggage from Tumble and Hide, Yoshi, Ashwood and Visconti. Adorn oneself with beautiful jewellery from Coeur de Lion and Holly Yashi. Heavenly scented candles from Woodwick which burn with the sound of a crackling fire, all this and more, come and browse you don’t know what you might find that you simply can’t live without. we are now stockists of Whistler Tree Cork bags and purses , and Cork place mats and coasters from Liga.
