Next Monday we will be open from 10am to 5pm for shopping only.

We will not be able to run either the Pokemon clubs for the kids or adults as most of the staff will be attending our friend Duncan's funeral.

We will be open Tuesday as normal, though maybe a little worse for wears!

We had a fantastic turn out for Pokemon league yesterday with 36 players acrodd the age categories.

Ceri was running her final sesssion and the players really turned up in numbers to wish her well.

This was the last league session before the Pokemon World Championships and with us not running a session on the 24th, the next League play session is on the 31st August - Bank Holiday Monday.

As for last night, we saw Ritchie take the event out with an unusual combination using Dhelmise and Gwynn used at the key combo, with Ollie and Paul filling the podium with some more tried and tested deck lists.

As always, we would love to see more people playing with the cards they buy, so please feel free to come in and join us on a monday evening from 6:30pm where we can help to teach you the basics and start you on your Pokemon journey!

The time has come to announce that Ceri will be departing Boss Minis on the 28th August for a new job doing something completely different to game store retail.

Ceri joined us proper in November 2021 and is currently the longest serving member of staff we have ever had - it's a real end of an era.

If you would like to pop in and see Ceri to wish her all the best, you have about 10 days to do it.

I do not think it's the last we will see of her, as she's a big fan of the Pokemon TCG and will have the opportunity to play more moving forward.

We would like to say a massive thank you to Ceri for all the effort in helping get Boss Minis into the position we are today.

You will be missed!

This past Saturday was the Boss Minis Local Qualifier for the Final Fantasy TCG!

Yes, Final Fantasy has its own card game! (and it’s really good!!)

A mix of local players, as well as those travelling from Southampton, Nottingham & Wales, took part in the competition with a spot at the European Championship in Milan up for grabs, as well as loads of great promos.

The event was won by Owen S after a fantastic final against Sam F. Both players displayed an exceptional level of play and it was a joy to watch. Congrats both!

Also congrats to Sam B and Jacques W for reaching the Top 4 cut.
