This was a special order for my 92 year old Grandma AKA Dodo 🦤 A beautiful William Morris cochineal pink strawberry thief for a beautiful lady 💓

The most gorgeous Sanderson fabric supplied by a lovely lady who had curtains made from the fabric and used the remnants to make her lampshades. The position of the birds was vital and I’d say we nailed it.

I am hooked on stripes.

This stunning Housemartins wallpaper is so dreamy, but the plain white shades weren’t doing it justice, so we decided to recover with an off white fabric and add the stripes to create harmony in the cloakroom.

Always trust the process, well not always!

So this was the 4th attempt to create this stunning candy stripe, huge shade for the fabulous Jane •

You can’t use a pre-printed stripe, as the pattern will veer off as it wraps around the shade. So we tried painting the fabric, but it just kept bleeding and whilst the hand made effect is nice to have, it looked a bit of a mess 🙈but I was taught never to give up my my wonderful mum, so I found a solution and I am in love with the finished product. So much so, I’m making one for myself!
