The Besson International is a well-regarded intermediate euphonium, making it an excellent choice for players looking to move to their first 4-valve instrument, or for those who find a fully compensating model a little too heavy.

This particular instrument is in very good condition, with only some minor cosmetic marks consistent with pre-owned use:

Very minor scratching to the back of the instrument
Two small d***s to the front of the top bow
A small amount of tarnishing in some difficult-to-reach areas
A little spotting on the bell and underside of the valve casing

A superb opportunity to own a Schilke Eb Soprano Cornet with Beryllium Bell, priced at £2,500.

Widely regarded as the “reference standard” for soprano cornets in the brass band tradition, the Schilke is renowned for its consistency, excellent intonation and distinctive, focused sound colour.

This cornet is in very good overall condition, with only a few small areas of cosmetic wear:

Between the valve casings
On the elbow of the 1st valve slide
On the underside of the 3rd valve slide

A great instrument for any brass band soprano player looking for the renowned Schilke sound and playing characteristics.

One for the collectors: a pre-owned Olds Super Recording Bb Trumpet.

This vintage horn really stands on its own. The Olds Super Recording is considered a Holy Grail instrument by many trumpet players, and it’s easy to see why. Olds instruments were the choice of countless professional players during their production years and remain highly sought after today.

This particular trumpet plays clean and strong, with an impressive versatility that would make it a fantastic addition to any collection.

The seller has also included documentation from the original purchase, providing some fascinating provenance. The original owner of this trumpet was American jazz trombonist Roy Ferguson.

The case is not the original, but is a later 1950s/60s Olds hard case, which complements this wonderful vintage instrument nicely.
