The lovely Richard from Ovington Bees will be at the Saham Toney Village Hall on Saturday 15th August for their Family Fun Day and Dog Show.

🕯️ Appleyard Candles Update 🕯️
If you have been following Appleyard Candles, you’ll know there are some regulatory changes coming in. Their product ranges are not changing, but unfortunately a handful of fragrances will be heading into retirement.
We’re spending today updating everything on the website, and the fragrances that are being phased out have had a little price tweak while stocks last. A gentle nudge for anyone who wants to pick up their favourites before they disappear.
Pop over to the website or swing by the shop if you want to sniff them out before they go. 💛🕯️

🎨 New Artwork in the Window! 🎨
The wonderful Tina Gedney, our resident watercolour artist, has been busy creating some absolutely gorgeous originals - this time working in ink and charcoal. And this beauty is now proudly displayed in the window.
We’ve had a whole wave of new pieces arrive in the shop, each one full of texture, detail and that unmistakable Tina magic. Honestly, photographs just don’t do them justice - they need to be seen up close to appreciate how stunning they really are.
If you’re passing, please do pop in and have a look. You’ll fall in love with them as much as we have. 💛🖼️

🛒✨ Shop Shuffle in Progress! 🛒✨
I’ve been having a bit of a rearrange in the shop - one of those jobs I regretted about three seconds after starting - and I’m still working my way through it.
Just to keep you on your toes, lots of items have already found new homes… and a few more will be moving shortly. So if things look a little different when you pop in, that’s why. Consider it a mini treasure hunt while I finish faffing about with the shelves.
It’s getting there - slowly but surely - and it’s already looking much fresher. 😅💛

The Runny Honey from Ovington Bees has finally buzzed its way back onto the shelves!
It’s been out of stock for a little while, but the bees have been busy doing their magical bee‑business and we’re fully restocked. Perfect for drizzling, dunking, stirring, or just eating straight off the spoon (no judgement here).
Pop in and grab a jar while it lasts - we have lots, but this one always flies out! 🐝
Don’t forget, all of our honey is available on the website too. If you can’t pop in straight away but want to make sure you don’t miss out, you can choose Click & Collect and pick up your jar whenever you’re passing 💛

🍌 Fragrance of the Week: Fun & Silly Edition 🦩
This week’s “This or That?” is all about fruity fun, bright colours, and scents that don’t take themselves too seriously - even though they smell seriously gorgeous.
And yes… both are half price all week.
🐒 Monkey Farts
A silly name with a stunning scent. Fresh, creamy banana meets juicy grapefruit, with bursts of kiwi, strawberry and nostalgic bubblegum in the middle. A soft vanilla base ties it all together. Fun, fruity, and far lovelier than the name suggests.
🦩 Hot Pink Flamingo
Loud, vibrant and unapologetically pink. Sweet strawberry overtones melt into sticky vanilla and a soft powdery finish. Modern, bold, and absolutely fabulous - a scent that demands attention.

I wanted to give a little spotlight today to the gorgeous creations from Fur Paws Bears. Sally hand‑makes the most beautiful miniature collectible bears and creatures - each one tiny, detailed, and full of personality. They’re absolute works of art, stitched with so much care and character.
Every single one is completely unique, and they’re all patiently waiting for their forever homes. If you haven’t met them yet, pop in and take a look… but fair warning, they have a habit of stealing hearts the moment you pick them up.
