My story...
Ever since I can remember I have had a fascination with Japanese arts and culture.
I’ve been lucky to have made a couple of trips to Japan in recent years, fulfilling a lifelong dream. I visited artisans, flea markets, countless shops and museums, gaining a huge amount of inspiration and a massive stash of fabrics on the way.
Tezukuri Accessories is a way of working back through my memories and putting to good use the fabrics and ideas I’ve collected. Each item I make is carefully considered for the way the fabrics and finishing work together – It’s a world away from the mass produced goods on sale on the high street and in retail parks.
Every item is unique, they all use different combinations of fabrics and finishes, so no two are exactly alike.
