An Open Letter to Richard Branson and the Virgin Atlantic team ✈️❤️
Richard,
You’ve spent your career proving that business can be successful without losing its sense of adventure, personality, or humanity.
Virgin has become one of the world’s most recognisable brands because you’ve always been willing to do things differently and put people at the heart of what you do.
That’s something we admire enormously.
At Stand Out Socks 🧦, we’re on a mission to create meaningful paid employment for people with Down syndrome and learning disabilities.
Every day, we see talented people exceed expectations when someone simply gives them an opportunity.
We believe business has the power to change lives.
Not through charity.
Through opportunity.
If there’s any chance of a conversation, a few words of advice, or simply the opportunity to learn from your journey, we’d be incredibly grateful.
And if it helps... we’re more than happy to fly over to Necker Island. 😄
We’re trying to build a future where people with learning disabilities are judged by their ability, not underestimated because of their disability.
