I am officially in ‘holiday mode’ now, but the shop is in the very capable hands of Audrey and Elaine who will be there to help you (where would I be without them?!) - Monday and Thursday groups will run as usual and I will be back on the 28th.

You can keep up to date with my trip away if you keep a close eye on my ‘stories’

I have a whole lot of brand new followers and haven’t introduced myself properly for a while!
My name is Katie and I own Yarn for the Soul. Every aspect of the business is run by me (although I am fortunate enough to have Elaine and Audrey to help me run the shop when I am away.)
I dye yarn, I run the social groups, I teach knitting and crochet, I order all the stock and I unpack it all too! If you send an email ~ you’ve guessed it, that’ll be me replying!
I am a single mum and an obsessive knitter. This business is our sole income. I am passionate about my crafts and just as passionate about responsibly crafting using natural fibres which don’t put microplastics into our water, homes and bodies. All the yarn in my shop is of natural fibres ~ sock yarns do have a small amount of nylon in them to aid with their durability though.
My shop is a place for everyone… whether you’re a beginner or advanced. It doesn’t matter. What matters is community and a shared love of our craft.
So, if you’re new here, now you know a bit more about me! Thank you for following my page, it truly means the world. The community I have built is growing all the time and I am happy to welcome you all.

LOCAL HONEY SOLD IN MY SHOP 🍯 🐝
Mum has been suited up and taking more frames off her hives in this ridiculous heat. Her honey has no additives, it’s just from these hives and is absolutely local to Warminster. £8 a jar and it’s won prizes for being so delicious (and as someone who has flipping awful hay fever, I can tell you now that since I started having a spoonful a day a few years ago, I no longer suffer)
