What calibre would you have your Long Barrel Revolver (LBR) in?

Here at Double Deuce Gun Shop we have Ch***pa Rhino LBR's in stock in both 9x19mm and .357 Magnum, so you can choose the calibre that truly suits you best.

With the .357 Mag you have an excellent revolver cartridge, that is loved by a whole range of revolver shooters across the world. It also of course has the added versatility of being able to use .38 Spl as well with no modifications to the gun, giving you a wide choice of ammunition.

Meanwhile, we also have the 9x19mm cartridge one of (if not) the worlds most used pistol calibre cartridge currently. This is a lovely low recoil cartridge that also can be shot quite economically too!

Either one you choose, these are a great step up from your .22LR LBP's and would make a great addition to your cabinet.

Have you wanted to own a integrally suppressed rifle?

Well now you can! Introducing our latest custom order from Guncraft Ltd.

Guncraft are UK rifle maker that has become world famous for their innovative .22 WMR rifles and magazines but we put their rifle making skills to the test and they have made us these awesome rifles!

These are all semi-auto fully mil spec AR15’s chambered in .22LR with a 12 inch barrel, including the built in moderator (which is the UK term for a suppressor). These rifles not only look fantastic but also handle very well. Better still our test rifle, cycled CCI 40gr Subsonics very well, so you can make full use of that moderator.

You’ll notice, one of these rifles is not like the rest. That’s because we have customised one of these rifles for a customer that has already purchased it!

Have you been thinking of upgrading your rifle?

One of the best ways to get the most accuracy you can out of your rifle is by replacing the stock it came with, with a good quality chassis system. The additional rigidity this give your rifle helps you to ensure a more repeatable shot and improve your groupings!

These particular chassis’s are the MDT Oryx Chassis.

MDT are widely regarded as the current global leader in rifle chassis technology, creating a range of solutions at a range of price points. The Oryx is one of their more affordable offerings but offers a full length aluminium chassis, with adjustable length of pull (via a spacer system) and adjustable comb height. These features make sure you get excellent rigidity and perfect gun fit, no matter the height of your optic.

They also make multiple kits to change the colour of the chassis, such as these two fetching examples in black and grey!

These chassis system take the famous AICS magazines system, which is know as providing reliable feeding and generous allowance for the length of bullet.

Have you ever shot a .308 rifle?

Well now all members of our gun club have the chance to, we have just had a fresh delivery of subsonic .308 ammo from Lapua, so why not come down to the range and check out our club .308 rifle?

As a club we have a Bergara B14 extreme hunter as our clubs .308 rifle. This rifle has quickly risen to be a fan favourite amoungst all our members due to how smooth it is to operate and excellent accuracy!

Have you tried lead free ammunition yet?

We have just had a delivery of RWS, High Velocity Green .22LR ammunition arrived in the shop.

These rounds 100% Lead Free!

They utilise a 24gr solid Zinc bullet with copper plating to achieve an impressive muzzle velocity of 1706 ft/s, which is an upto 58% increase in velocity when you compare to your normal lead (LRN) bullets. Leading to it also having an impressive 210 Joules of muzzle energy, a step up form your standard lead ammunition.

With the combo of this velocity and their lovely nickel plated cases, we have found these cycle very cleanly through any semi-auto rifles we have tested them through.

So why not give them a try and see what you think of the innovative new ammunition?

What a rifle set up we have here!

This is a package deal we have recently competed for a customer.

Those with a keen eye might recognise this rifle from our earlier post but the customer has since finished the package off with an absolutely fantastic optic, the Leupold VX-3i 6.5-20x50 with a fine duplex reticle.

This optic has absolutely fantastic optical clarity but with both enough magnification and internal adjustment to it a fantastic cross over hunting or target shooting.

You can tell as soon as you pick this optic up that it’s extremely well built and also surprising lightweight for an optic with this feature set.

Then when you have a quality rifle and optic the last crucial part of the puzzle is buying high quality ammunition and you don’t get any better than Lapua. The customer has chosen their .308 Win, 200gr subsonic ammunition, a lovely round that is smooth to shoot and surprisingly quiet (when shot with a moderator). With this ammunition, the rifle has been grouping hole on hole here at our range, results you can only get when using ammunition of this quality.
