They say that parting is such sweet sorrow but this is not goodbye but rather "you'll need to use the other door (in Feathers Yard) instead". Not sure the great bard himself could have written anything more eloquent.

From tomorrow ( and unless you want a, newspaper, to***co, lottery or v**e from today) everything that KP sells is only available via the Feathers Yard entrance.

Some more astute readers may recall hints of a tie up with Spar etc but (and it is a big but and I cannot lie) the increased costs over the past year & an imminent lease renewal have meant that the family feel that the risk is too great for the level of investment needed. Instead KP is consolidating.

So,we are here. The same KP doing broadly the same KP stuff in the same building (just half of it). Please pop by and see what we have been working on.

PLEASE NOTE, a reduction in space has also unfortunately meant a reduction in staff. We are entering the final few days of employment at KP for some of the people you may regularly interact with. They have worked hard to support the next steps, had many a conversation reminding them of their upcoming situation and generally been pretty damn excellent in a very difficult situation. Please bear that in mind when visiting KP over the next few days.

Please bear with us over the next few days regarding where stock is and opening hours etc, Everything should be settled down into the new routine by Friday.

As we move away from Summer and into the less favourable weather we will no longer be opening on Sunday.

It is likely, probable even, that we will open temporarily for the Sundays in December leading up to Christmas and will confirm this nearer the time.

We appreciate that this may cause some inconvenience to a few of our customers for whom our being open on a Sunday has been helpful and want to thank them for their support.

Ooooops, looks like some one in town forgot to pop some pennies in the town power meter and a number of us are without power. Not ideal.

At KP we are currently assessing where we are at but suffice to say it is going to significantly affect what we can do to it is fixed and there is a very high probability we may not be open till is fixed.

Indication is midday but looking at other texts from while I was sleeping show they also thought 02:00 till 07:11 when midday was introduced.

Ho hum, spose we ought to go and eat all the ice cream before it is fully melted. Happy Tuesday everyone!
