The Mirrors, to 31lb, all fell to Classic Pineapple pop ups with small amounts of crumbled Red Fish Pro, H**p and Mixed Pellet, which was fished over low lying w**d.

‘Constantly baiting with h**p and buckwheat soon had the fish visiting the spot regularly, i put 2 rods out on singles whilst I watched the water when 1 of the rods burst in to life. After a good 30 minute battle it was finally in the bottom of my net! A fish known as the long common and king of the pond! I’d only seen this carp once on the bank at 44.14 and wanted to have him in the album ever since. 22 nights 10 bites amd he was mine this spring. 48.14 of massive angry male that rucked like f###! A new pb for me by 6oz as well still bizzing about it now’

Our good friend sent us over this lovely 34lb Carp, known as Mussells, a couple of weeks ago.

‘I arrived at my syndicate for around 4pm straight after work Friday thinking it was going to be busy due to new syndicate members starting but the lake was empty I had the whole lake to my self all weekend I couldn’t believe it I jumped in my usual swim that views the whole lake sat and watched the water till I got a sign of some fish activity quickly I could see a few fish showing on the back of the wind but I checked the weather and could see the winds were due to get stronger blowing to the South west corner of the lake so I decided to take a gamble and fish on the end of it despite it being a bit chilly and seeing a few fish showing on the back of it in the sun by Saturday morning fish we’re getting on the end of this south westly wind as I predicted they started showing closer and closer to we’re I had baited at the bottom of the marginal shelf in 25ft of water in the south west corner of the lake a single Blake’s pineapple pop up fished helicopter style with a chod rig over a pouch full of your trout pellets in low lying w**d was enough to tempt mussels for a feed a hectic battle with plenty of power surges down in to the deep water I finally got mussels in the net absolutely buzzing to tick this one off my target list!‘

has had another impressive Spring, landing some huge Tench this time.

This awesome fish of 11.2 was the biggest of a 5 fish fit, which fell to solid bags made with our 2mm Krill and Halibut Attrax pellets, over a bed of h**p and casters.
