It’s been a while… after this long hiatus due to family mental health and my health we can confirm that we shall be back and open soon, this week I’ll be going through what stock we have and preparing to make some tea blends and getting everything ready to reboot here at HQ lots of website preparation and admin to do first. 🖤
Firstly I want to thank all of you that offered messages of support and general wellbeing checkup I have so many of you to reply to but I want to you know they mean the world to us as a family not just as a business it’s been a very hard time for us all, as well as numerous medical investigations for myself which are still ongoing with an MRI and some other investigative procedures still to be completed we also have had a seriously ill son.
Finn was admitted to hospital twice in December and January after a harrowing month of doing all that we could at home for him (this was such a tormenting and harrowing time for our whole family)he was admitted (sectioned, under the mental health act) into a secure psychiatric unit due to his mental health. He was in hospital all over Yule and the new year, then another admission in January for the same thing. He is on the mend and is doing so much better than he was. he continues to take his medication and is fighting for a full recovery. Since his discharge from hospital we have had his primary mental health team visit every day to assess him for recovery and diagnosis. (trauma due to continuing bullying was the catalyst). each day he is getting better little by little and our old kind, caring soul is coming back to us. As he is recovering his team have stepped back a few days a week and he doesn't need me as much which leaves me some time to get back to normality. 🖤
Also in December Shirley who we helped care for really started to deteriorate quickly and she passed away in January peacefully at home knowing she was loved by us with a smile and a sense of relief.
I hope that you can understand why a hiatus was needed and that you will continue to show your support to us as and our family business 🖤
