It is with great sadness to announce that Rowland Parkinson ( Rowley) Carol's dad, my father-in-law, Passed away on the 15th November. For many years, he came to work in the shop on Sundays. He was a great help and always had a warm welcome for everybody. One of his Favourite, sayings was keep music Live!
He also helped with concerts and events that we ran at the Red Shed, selling raffle tickets, Greeting people at the door. He was also a big help at the Wakefield Folk festival and on the Trad music Stall at Whitby Festival. He will be greatly missed! These are rowlands words "life is not a rehearsal" - keep smiling,and keep music live.
