**TEETHING**
We've had a couple of questions about our Customflash cards and how they withstand teething babies and toddlers so I thought I'd do a little post to explain why we chose the material we did for the cards.
We use 3mm thick foamex to create your personalised Customflash cards for a number of reasons:
👶🏻 This material is sturdy and strong enough to not snap when little hands try to bend them
👶🏻 Foamex has a slight 'give' to it so isn't completely solid and hard against little teeth, which could damage them
👶🏻 No sharp edges to hurt little mouths due to being able to create rounded corners on our Customflash cards
👶🏻 Foamex can be submerged in water allowing you play with your flashcards in the bath
👶🏻 Because they are water resistant, they are very easy to wipe clean
👶🏻 The technique we use to create your Customflash cards means the image is heat pressed in to the card rather than stuck on top of it. This means it will not peel off either in your little ones mouth or under little fingernails.
👶🏻 Foamex is 100% recyclable meaning we are looking after our environment.
👶🏻 Thanks to the durability, your cards really can grow with your child and stand the test of time.
As you can see in the images, our little ones have had a little nibble on the corner of our family card. (I've had to adjust the brightness and sharpness to be able to see the teeth marks better)
Whilst your teething toddler or baby may leave a little mark on your cards, it will cause no damage to their teeth and they would never be able to bite a chunk off our cards.
