Claiming his maiden Legends Tour Victory at the OFX Irish Legends, delivering a great performance and lifting the trophy to secure a memorable first win on the tour.

Great pictures from the weekend of the presentation of The Coral Eclipse Trophy made by Inkerman and presented at Sandown.

Coral first sponsored the race in 1976.

Inkerman worked with our in-house team of designers and skilled craftsmen to create a trophy that reflects the heritage, prestige and enduring significance of this iconic race and has been a highlight in our trophy making history. Two smaller trophies were also made and presented to winning jockey Ryan Moore and winning trainer Aidan O’Brian a team that has now won this race for the 10th year running.

Many congratulations to Constitution River and the Coolmore Partners and the team at home that make wins like this happen.

The Coral Eclipse Trophy is presented to the winner of the prestigious Coral-Eclipse Stakes at Sandown Park, one of Britain’s most celebrated Group 1 flat races. First run in 1886, the race was named after the legendary 18th-century unbeaten racehorse Eclipse, whose influence can still be found in the pedigree of the vast majority of modern Thoroughbreds. The Coral-Eclipse is renowned for bringing together the best three-year-olds and older horses in one of the defining contests of the summer racing season.

What an honour to design and make this new trophy for The Coral Eclipse at Sandown today. Coral first sponsored the race in 1976 and have sponsored ever since – making this their 51st year of sponsorship.

The trophy Weighs a mere 15 kilo’s, stands 49cms tall and 40 cms wide so it’s quite some trophy!

The great combo that is Aidan O’Brian and Ryan Moore have done it again! Huge congratulations to the team and all involved - 10 times a winner on different horses of the Coral Eclipse.
