A bit of a treat yesterday.... My husband and I opened a bottle of Reynella Basket Pressed McLaren Vale Shiraz 2012 (bursting with Blackberries, cinnamon, well balanced and elegant tannins) it paired very well with a Rump steak served with mushroom and Madeira sauce 😋

Yesterday I had a great meal and lovely Turkish wine at La'De Kitchen in Camberley. The wine had great acidity with some lemon and floral notes. The food was delicious I particularly loved the babaganoush and my daughter had the best pizza. Also, the waiter Simon gave us a top service. I recommend the trip if you are in Camberley!

A massive fan of this beautiful sparkling which can definitely compete with more expensive Champagnes out there. This is a Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc de Blanc (Chardonnay) from Waitrose at £15.99. Lovely smooth and elegant sparkling with notes of green apple and biscuits making you reach the bottle for a top-up 😋
