We have 3 new soft blue cheeses from White Lake Cheese. Moo’dy Blue a pasturised Jersey cows milk cheese, Shepton Blewe a mild, sweet, unpasteurised sheep’s milk cheese and Kingfisher Blue and unpasteurised goats Blue cheese. All delicious as you’d expect from White Lake.

We have Dorset Blue Vinny today on the tasting board at . This farmhouse cheese is made with skimmed milk, making the cheese slightly lower in fat than other blue cheeses making it more crumbly, though not noticeably less creamy. It has a mellow flavour with hints of marmite.

Treveador Farm have bought back their superb Helford Heron cheese. Based on an Alpine style recipe, the cheese has a washed rind and a creamy paste full of holes.

We received are first batch of Burford from King Stone Dairy today. A semi hard wash rind made with pasteurised cow’s milk.
The cheese is based on Alpine style and aged for at least 6 months. With a fruity aroma and a sweet nutty flavour. The cheese won Supreme Champion at this years British Cheese Awards.
