Ever had an item bought on-line and arrived damaged? This is the LAW on such matters-
Under UK consumer law (governed by the Consumer Contracts Regulations and the Consumer Rights Act), if an online or distance-bought item arrives damaged or faulty, you have the legal right to reject it for a full refund, including delivery and return postage costs.
You have upto 30 days to do this.
Sadly I have had to quote this to a supplier whose parcel arrived torn to pieces and damage to contents (NOT a book for once!)
This might help someone who gets problem like this.
