Happy super-hot day all…

We’re loving the projects finished this weekend - Beverley’s atmospheric woodland scene, Clare’s Whitby panel, Beverley’s 80cm tall honesty seed heads (destined to be an illuminated installation), and Sunday’s 3d foiled creations - three succulents, a cactus and a terrarium.

Well done all!

Unveiling our new motto for the weekend - You can it can do it.
As seen in a local coffee shop where mischievous students have been ‘levelling up’ the cafe equivalent of ‘Live Laugh Love’ decorations.

Lots of opportunities to Can Do It in July, including workshops with three of our talented tutors - Meet the Moon Stacey on the 26th, Clare Tebboth, Artist on the 18th and Hazel Beckett on the 19th.

Last minute place availability!

There are spaces on this Saturday’s Garden Glass Art workshop.

A whole day of creativity, making a tall glass lollipop 30cm in diameter.

Learn to cut glass, use mosaic nippers, work with Frits, enamel pens, stringers, all to your own design or one of ours.

Max six in the group so lots of space and tuition to bring your ideas to life!

You can choose to mount your creation in our bespoke sturdy metal frame standing over a metre tall or display it in a high quality wooden base indoors.

All the examples here were made by students on this workshop - you can make a piece line this too!

What was going on a year ago?

Developing new ideas for affordable Tealight holders for the winter, 3d copper foiled daffodils and a terrarium made by Nic, new templates for papercut art by Meet the Moon (aka Stacey Young), a lovely garden panel and a test run copper foiled tealight finished by Lou, stained glass painting in progress, and fused glass hearts made by Moira and Jane.

You can make these hearts on Jenny’s new Mix-n-Match half-day fusing class BTW.
