We recently completed two warehouse floor painting projects in Abingdon and Wimbledon, covering 1,200m² in total.

Both spaces were finished using Arturo EP6700 DPM/Primer and Arturo EP3900 High Build resin paint, with a different colour finish used on each site.

At Abingdon, we surface ground the existing warehouse floor to remove contaminants and old floor finishes before applying the new coating system.

At Wimbledon, we worked over a new anhydrite screed, which had been cut back by other contractors before we applied the primer and resin paint finish.
A clean, practical and hard-wearing result across both warehouse spaces.

A recent nursery flooring refurbishment completed for The Redbrick Day Nursery on Welford Road in Northampton🌟✏️🎒

For this project, we installed Victoria Carpets Universal Clic plank in Flint Grey over the existing vinyl floor. Because it’s a click system, no adhesive was required, which helped reduce installation time and meant very little subfloor preparation was needed. The full installation was completed over a weekend, allowing the nursery to remain open and operational during the week.

A practical solution for a busy childcare setting where speed, durability and minimal disruption all mattered.

A great project to be part of from start to finish 👏

PDQ Contract Flooring was appointed by Qualis Construction to carry out all subfloor preparation works and floor finishes at Kilsby House Care Home — a project we first surveyed back in September 2024.

Works started on site in September 2025 and were completed in February 2026, delivered in phases throughout the build.
Our works included:

* 534m² of Probond DPM + Probond Series 300 smoothing compound to the basement and ground floor
* 945m² of 6mm ply with feather finish to the first and second floors
* 1,277m² of Polyflor Forest FX Smoked Oak to bedrooms, communal areas, hallways and staircases
* 202m² of Polysafe Quattro to ensuites and shower rooms with cap and coved skirtings
* Double channel nosings to 4 staircases

A really satisfying transformation and a job we’re proud to have delivered. Great to work alongside Qualis Construction, and we hope it’s the start of more projects together.

🌟In November 2025 we carried out a flooring refresh for Mango at World Vision in Milton Keynes.

We uplifted and disposed of 1,000m² of existing carpet tiles, then supplied and installed 1,100m² of Shaw Contract Graph carpet tiles throughout the main areas.
In the kitchen/breakout space we installed Moduleo Roots LVT, with 6mm ply fixed to the raised access floor to make sure the finish is stable, smooth and built to last.

On a recent PDQ project, we installed ShawContract carpet tiles from their Roam Comfortworx range and loose lay Moduleo LVT from the Matrix 70 Loose Lay collection. over a raised access floor system, creating a clean, professional finish that can be uplifted when access to the subfloor is needed.

🚛 A Reception Floor That Tells a Story

We were recently asked to refresh the reception area at EM Rogers Transport, recreating the original linoleum floor design that had been in place for over 25 years.

Working with Forbo Flooring, we used their AquaJet technology to recreate the company’s logo as an inset detail in the new Marmoleum Fresco floor.
